WHO AM I,
AND WHY AM I DOING THIS?
I grew up in Redmond, and I’ve lived in the First Congressional District my entire life. For more than five years, I’ve worked as a home care aide, supporting my brother with down syndrome and another long-term client. My experience in caregiving and years of involvement with my union have shaped my commitment to fighting for working people, and given me an in-depth look into how our healthcare system routinely fails people.
For so many, it's impossible to quantify the hours spent trying to figure out their insurance, the hours spent going to doctor's appointments, the hours spent trying to argue that treatment should be covered. There is no ease in navigating this system, and it can financially ruin entire families in an instant.

I turned my attention to politics because of a deep, underlying anger. I’m angered by the state of our healthcare system, that nobody my age will ever be able to own a home, that my country is complicit in a horrific genocide - I’m angry that my brother’s Medicaid benefits will be cut by the Trump administration, and that we don’t have representatives in Congress who are willing to materially fight for our livelihoods.
That’s why I decided to run, and I’m going to need all the help I can get to win this fight.

MAKE BILLIONAIRES ILLEGAL
The Billionaire class is destroying our country. It should be illegal to hoard the obscene level of wealth required to become one.
When elected, I will introduce legislation to create a Wealth Tax and amend the tax code so that every dollar gained over a billion goes back into the social safety net.
REBUILD THE MIDDLE CLASS
The Middle Class has been hollowed out by decades of greed and exploitation. Productivity is higher than ever, yet people are working for crumbs.
It’s far past time to raise the Federal Minimum Wage to $25/hour to keep pace with inflation and the cost of living, while implementing strong protections for the unions and union members that helped build our middle class in the first place.
PASS UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE
Our privatized Health system is purposefully designed to kill people, while making as much money as possible for the insurance companies.
We need to dismantle the private insurance scam, and pass Medicare for All to bring down costs while guaranteeing high-quality care to every American.
MAKE LIVING AFFORDABLE
Corporate ghouls want to stop us from buying homes and affording groceries. The inflation-adjusted price of a new home has more than doubled since 1965.
I will fight for national rent control, price caps, and harsh punishments for corporate greed – as well as massive corporate taxes to subsidize the immediate construction of new affordable housing across the country.
ABOLISH ICE
Immigrants who enrich our society are being harassed and terrorized by racist thugs.
When elected, I will introduce legislation to abolish ICE, shut down DHS and utilize the full power of Congress to investigate and prosecute Kristi Noem, her subordinates and every single ICE agent stalking immigrant communities.
END SUPPORT FOR GENOCIDE
Every single year, the United States sends billions of dollars in military aid to the Israeli Government so they can carry out a perpetual genocide of Palestinians.
I will never bow down to AIPAC – we should immediately cut off all monetary and material aid to Israel, and push on the world stage to see Benjamin Netanyahu and his cronies spend the rest of their days rotting in prison cells.
DESTROY TECH MONOPOLIES
Big Tech monopolies are poisoning our society – and now they want to shove AI slop down our throats. It’s time to break up the monopolies: Apple, Google, Meta, Amazon, and Microsoft (who just laid off thousands of Washingtonians).
Punish the CEOs who have invaded our privacy, and implement strict regulations on generative AI systems that exist only to destroy art, culture and spread targeted disinformation.
IMPEACH & CONVICT TRUMP
My opponent supported Trump's impeachment in 2021, now she doesn't. What has changed? The Trump regime is more lawless and emboldened than ever before, primarily because they do not fear any real opposition to their power.
I don't care what the courts say - the President of the United States is not above the law, and he cannot wield power like a dictator. Let's throw this fascist tyrant out of office.
REMAKE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
The Democratic Party is currently a failed institution, and more of a fundraising operation than an actual political party.
It’s not enough to simply claim that we’re the party for working people. We also need to elect working people up and down the board to remake the party in our image and adapt to a new era of politics. When elected, I will fight to elect people like me across the country and put pressure on our present leadership to step down.
